A long-standing tradition of metal technologies expertise

Carmel Metal specializes in hot and cold forming, and implements a wide range of metal processing technologies and procedures to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Deep Drawing

What is Deep Drawing

Deep Drawing is a metal forming process that involves manipulating a blank sheet metal into a three-dimensional shape by pulling it through a series of dies or punches. As the metal is pulled into the die, it stretches and thinks, forming the desired shape, typically a deep cavity or cup-shaped component.

Expertise drawn on decades of experience

Our team of professionals are experts at creating complex shapes without the need to join or weld multiple parts together, resulting in faster and more cost-effective production while improving the overall quality and strength of the components. Relying on advanced machinery and equipment, our plant is capable of processing materials as thick as XX cm to produce parts as large as XX cm. In some instances, our deep drawing process is repeated with additional dies to achieve even more complex shape.

Uses and Benefits

Carmel Metal excels at creating high-quality deep-drawn products with intricate shapes and tight tolerances, reducing the need for additional machining and finishing processes. This saves time and costs while increasing strength and durability, making it them ideal for use in multiple industries as automotive, aerospace and medical.

We manufacture a comprehensive range of deep-drawn products and components, including cylindrical or box-shaped components such as cans, containers, housings, and automotive parts – all produced with high precision and consistency using various metals, including aluminum, steel, copper and brass.
